| director, first assistant director | Start Date: Open | ||
|
Having transitioned into film and entertainment from a successful career in the scenic arts industry as an artist and project manager, I have an innate understanding of the rigors of production itself, budgeting, scheduling and management. I am experienced in managing any size crew, delegating effectively, and work creatively with the director, director of photography and production designers, as necessary, in order to achieve the overall vision of the project. Initially planning the days with an intuitive sense of order, I consistently bring in days on time and on schedule, not to mention being there for the director to lean on and bounce ideas off, if needed; a true first assistant. Along with my acuity in production itself, I bring a positive and motivated attitude to the many duties required in entertainment productions. My work credo matches my passion for projects. I am currently available for any interviews. My resume is included here for your review. Please feel free to call me directly on my mobile at 917.753.0191 to discuss your project or to set up an interview. I have references, of course, upon request.

I have spent the last four years producing an independent feature film in which I was responsible for overseeing pretty much everything. We started the project with 5 people and $5,000. It has now grown into a crew of almost 100 and a budget of $500,000. The film was released in theatres through National Lampoon October 19, 2007, and is available on DVD. In addition to producing the feature, I have also been working in the fast paced environment of Commercial Production and Marketing with many fantastic companies including Dark Light Pictures, The Los Angeles Film Festival, Detour Films, New Wave Entertainment, 31 Street Production, Laura Ziskin Productions, Seligman Entertainment and Hypomania Content. I have learned an incredible amount about the business and the value of being able to produce quickly and efficiently, teamwork, organization skills, effective communications, prioritization, and being able to remain calm and enjoy the ride through it all. I have found that I love managing the production environment and possess a strong ability to keep things together and keep it all running smoothly (well…as smoothly as possible in this beautiful world we call production).

I have 20 plus years of feature film, commercial, music promo and post production experience. That includes budgeting and scheduling globally. I also have a degree in animation, I used to be a key animator, but now I use all of my hands-on experience in animation and VFX to consult on script breakdowns, complex VFX and animation budget including 3D stereovision for both film and digital delivery/projection. My skills also include being a creative and development producer, with good story telling abilities. I am also a strong producer and always get the job done on time and on budget. My live action experience is also very extensive and almost every live action film has some VFX in it. I can make your production smooth and profitable or you can call me to fix your problems when you select someone with less experience and knowledge. Pay now or pay more later! Give me a call, you'll be glad you did.

My music supervisor credits include the 2005 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival selection "Meet Me In Miami", the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival selection "Sam's Lake", and the 2007 award-winning drama "A Dance For Bethany" for which I co-produced one of the songs. "Like A Rolling Stone", a Canada/Estonia co-production with distribution from Alliance Films is slated to start production in 2009. My previous experience in the Film & TV Music departments at Polygram, Universal Music Enterprises and Warner Bros. provided me with a solid background in drafting and administrating music licenses, a skill that only a small percentage of music supervisors possess. I also offer an instant rebate and money back guarantee for first time clients. Go to www.zoophoriamusic.com to view my new demo reel with scenes from the above-mentioned films.

To Whom it may concern, I have been a Line Producer/Production Manager based in NYC for the past ten years. I have produced shoots on location and in studios (both long & short formats) In addition, I have managed shoots in NY and traveled to supervise productions often, needless to say, in challenging situations. I also was the Production Manager of “A Farewell to Sex and the City”, the 1 hour special that aired before the final episode. I have been lucky to have worked with an impressive roster of both union and non-union crews and have accrued outstanding teams of production talent. I am "fluent" in both film and video (including film style HD). My expertise includes creating and supervising budgets from the low thousands to millions. In addition to creating and supervising these budgets, my positions entailed negotiating contracts with talent and their reps, locations and vendors and dealing with all the travel and logistics of shooting. Thank you. Ursula Williams

Rob was born and raised in Southern California, and developed an affinity for film music at an early age. Although he had no formal training as a child, he spent hours analyzing the scores of John Williams and how they worked in collaboration with film. Rob picked up the guitar at age 13, and spent the next five years embracing the instrument and learning how to write. In 1997, after years of collaborating with other live musicians, Rob relocated to Denver where he found his love for composition reborn at a local university. Rob took private classical guitar and voice lessons, and began to teach himself piano in preparation for a career as a composer under the tutelage of composer and Professor Kevin Kennedy of the Lamont School of Music at DU. After a year at the University of New Mexico in 2002, Rob made his way back to California with a transfer into California State University Northridge. Rob's first full year of business in 2006 yielded 16 short films, including additional music that appeared in the nationally syndicated PBS show Roadtrip Nation, and a festival submission in the Delaware Valley Film Festival for the short film "Breathing Underwater." Rob capped off the year with an award for Best Short Film in the Destricted Competition on Shootingpeople.com in November for the short film "Footsie." In 2007, he scored "3 Down," which was screened at both the Phoenix Film Festival and the Women's International Film Festival in Miami. Also, Rob scored the short film Bag for EJ Pictures as a submission to the 168 Hour Film Festival, and the film took home the prize for Best Comedy. He also provided music for the film Ride, El, which is screening at the Austin Women's Film Festival in April. Rob is currently working with writer/director Angelo Bell and 319 Productions, now in preproduction for the feature film "Broken Hearts Club."
