I'm the owner of a small production company which does soup to nuts video work in many categories.  I also work with other production companies and professionals as a freelancer. consultant and sub-contractor.

My field of expertise is in limited budget HiDef video - yes, getting the best value in a high quality product. I'm an established cinematographer, and also have a strong editing facility on site.  As a director, my creative credits are limited, but I've been making projects happen for a long time. 

I am producer-founder of History Film, a not-for-profit film company, based on Long Island. I have produced "Yesterday's Time" narrated by Tony Bennett, and other historical documentaries, and am developing the forthcoming "Dangerous Intimacy: The Untold Story of Mark Twain's Final Years".    15 Years exp. in video production of all levels mostly DP and editor..with over 45 music videos for GAC and nationwide tv shows and documentaries  and tv series, my work is still winning awards. I don't really shoot to win awards but I shoot to get the message across to the viewer. That is my goal, to satisfy whoever watches the movies, documentaries or tv shows I work on.

Before film, my first love was theatre. For awhile, after moving to New York, I produced and directed dinner theatres and ran an off-off (and even further off) Broadway company.  Lots of work, lots of time until I finally realized that earning a living in theatre was nigh onto impossible for me. 

I found work as a still photographer, eventually moving to film sets as an assistant cameraman, then slowly inching toward production. I joined DGA as an assistant director, moved to production managing and finally came full circle, upgrading my membership to Director.

My latest project was the three-part, federally-funded PBS series, The Writing Code, detailing the history and future of writing.  We're now raising funding for Part Four (The Digital Revolution) and Part Five (The Power of the Pen).
